About Caleb
After many school years of being forced to read books that weren't exactly my favorites, I eventually found my way back to reading on my own terms. It started with comics and graphic novels — low pressure, genuinely fun — and from there I found myself wanting to push a little further while staying true to what I actually enjoy.
That led me to nonfiction: history, biography, current affairs. Then one day I picked up a mystery thriller, and that opened up a whole other side of reading I didn't expect to love as much as I do.
After working through several books, I decided I wanted a place to put my thoughts down after finishing each one. I post a review whenever I finish a book — whether that's a physical copy, an ebook, or an audiobook.
These aren't literary criticisms. They're just my honest first reaction after closing the last page — how the book made me feel, what stuck with me, what didn't. I'm new to this, and I know we won't all have the same takes, and that's perfectly fine. This isn't meant to tell you what to read. It's just me sharing how I felt about the books I'm reading.
